DriverOffer Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how DriverOffer ("DriverOffer," "we," "us") handles personal information in connection with driveroffer.com and the DriverOffer service (the "Service").
1. Who we are and our role
DriverOffer is a software tool that trucking companies ("carriers") use to build and share their own job and pay offers with truck drivers. Our role depends on whose information it is:
- Carrier users and website visitors. For information about carrier account holders, recruiters, and visitors to our website, DriverOffer decides how the information is used and is responsible for it.
- Drivers. For information about drivers that a carrier enters into the Service, or that a driver submits in response to a carrier's offer, the carrier decides how the information is used, and DriverOffer processes it on the carrier's behalf as its service provider. The carrier's own privacy notice governs the carrier's use of that information. DriverOffer does not decide who receives an offer, does not make hiring decisions, and does not send messages to drivers on its own behalf.

2. Information we collect
2.1 From carriers and their users
- Account and company information: company name, logo, tagline, colors, footer text, USDOT and MC numbers, fleet size, mailing address, and website.
- User information: each recruiter's name, login email, password (stored only in hashed form), phone number, photo, display name, and title.
- Fleet and offer content: truck unit number, year, make, model, odometer, and photos; pay terms, deductions, bonuses, benefits, home time, run type, equipment, FAQs, awards, and driver quotes the carrier provides.
- Billing information: plan, billing cycle, and billing contact. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
- Signup, consent, and acceptance records: the text of the terms and disclosures shown, the date and time, IP address, and browser user agent.
- Pilot and contact requests: contact details, company, fleet size, the applicant tracking system used, and referral or campaign information.
- Integration settings: if a carrier connects its own email or SMS account or another tool, we store the credentials it provides in encrypted form, accessible only to the workspace owner's configuration.
2.2 About drivers, entered by carriers
The carrier may enter a driver's name, mobile phone number, and/or email address, the offer details, and the language of the offer.
2.3 From drivers who respond to an offer
When a driver opens an offer link and chooses to respond, we collect what the driver submits on the carrier's behalf. This may include name, phone, email, ZIP code, best time to contact, preferred contact method, free-text messages, the response type (Interested, Question, Not interested), and a decline reason. If a carrier has connected its own email or SMS account, we also receive the driver's replies to messages the carrier sent through the Service. For email, this is only replies to those messages: the sender, date, and reply text. Responses are not identity-verified.
2.4 Automatically
- Offer activity: when an offer link is opened, how many times, and when.
- Website and app usage: pages viewed and product events, through our own first-party event logging and an analytics script from manus-analytics.com. Device and browser information and IP address may be processed for these purposes and for security.
- Browser storage: we use cookies or local storage to keep you signed in and remember settings. On offer pages, the driver's language choice and bookmarks are stored in the driver's own browser.
- No advertising pixels. We do not use advertising pixels or cross-context behavioral advertising.
2.5 What we do not collect
The Service is not designed to collect, and carriers are not permitted to enter, Social Security numbers, driver's license or CDL numbers, dates of birth, home addresses, driving records, background or criminal history, drug or alcohol test results, medical information, or bank or card numbers. We do not provide background checks or consumer reports.
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Service. This includes displaying offers, delivering driver responses to the carrier, and sending messages through the carrier's own connected accounts at the carrier's direction.
- To create and manage accounts, process payments, send service and billing messages to carrier users (such as trial reminders, receipts, and security notices), and provide support.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and security incidents, and to enforce our Terms.
- To debug, maintain, and improve the quality and features of the Service.
- To create de-identified and aggregated statistics, such as the number of offers sent, response rates, and counts of decline reasons. These statistics do not identify any carrier, user, or driver. We keep this information in de-identified form, do not try to re-identify it, and require anyone we share it with to do the same.
- To comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
- To market DriverOffer to carrier businesses, for example by email to business contacts. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use driver information to contact drivers for our own purposes, to build driver profiles, or to match drivers with other carriers. Driver information entered by one carrier is not made available to other carriers.
4. How information is shared
- Within the carrier's workspace. Authorized users of the carrier that created an offer can see that offer and its responses.
- With anyone who has an offer link. Offer links are private links. Anyone who has a link can view that personalized offer. The driver's phone and email entered by the carrier are not displayed on the public offer page.
- With our service providers, who process information for us under contract: Manus (application hosting and platform), Stripe (payments; Stripe may also send receipts and invoices), and manus-analytics.com (site analytics). We may send account, security, and billing notices by email using third-party service providers. We will update this list, which is also posted at driveroffer.com/subprocessors, if it changes.
- With services the carrier chooses to connect, at the carrier's direction. These services are controlled by the carrier and are not DriverOffer's service providers. Texts to drivers come only from a recruiter's own phone or the carrier's own Twilio (or other SMS) account. Emails to drivers come only from the carrier's own mailbox. If the carrier turns it on, we also pick up drivers' replies to those emails, read-only. DriverOffer provides tools such as STOP handling, opt-out links, a mailing-address field, and quiet-hours warnings, but the carrier is the sender. Examples of these services are the carrier's email provider, Twilio or another SMS provider, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zapier, Make, Google Sheets, an applicant tracking system, and video hosts such as YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode), Vimeo, or Loom. Embedded videos load only when a viewer taps play. These services handle data under their own terms and privacy policies.
- For legal reasons: to comply with law, legal process, or government requests; to protect the rights, safety, and security of DriverOffer, our customers, drivers, or others; and to enforce our Terms.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Retention
- Carrier workspace data, including driver information and responses: kept for as long as the carrier's account exists, including when it is read-only. After an account is closed, it is kept for up to 180 days so that the carrier can return or export it. Then it is deleted or de-identified within a further 30 days. Backup copies are overwritten in the normal cycle (up to 35 days). Archiving an offer or revoking a link does not delete it.
- Pilot requests: up to 24 months.
- Records of acceptance of our Terms and this Policy (the text shown, date and time, IP address, and browser user agent): 7 years after the account is closed.
- Other consent records and billing records: for as long as needed for legal, tax, and dispute purposes, and at least as long as the law requires.
- Webhook delivery logs: 30 days.
- De-identified and aggregated statistics: may be kept indefinitely.
- We may keep information longer where needed to comply with law, resolve disputes, or meet a legal hold.
6. Your choices and rights
Drivers. Your information was provided by, or on behalf of, the carrier that sent you the offer. To access, correct, or delete it, or to stop receiving messages, contact that carrier using the recruiter details shown on the offer. You can also reply STOP to a text or use the "stop emails" link in an email. You may also email us at bgd4you@gmail.com. We will forward your request to the carrier and help it respond, and we will act directly where the law requires.
Carrier users and website visitors. You can update most account information in Settings. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of marketing, by emailing bgd4you@gmail.com. We will verify requests before acting on them. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.
State privacy rights. Depending on where you live and whether a state privacy law applies to us or to the carrier, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not sell or share personal information, or use it for targeted advertising or profiling. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond within the time the law requires. Residents of California and other states with such laws can contact us at bgd4you@gmail.com.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. Because we do not sell or share personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of. We treat Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out where the law requires. Our website does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information. Examples are encryption in transit, encryption of stored integration credentials, hashed passwords, role-based access, owner-only integration settings, expiring and revocable offer links, and validation of incoming webhooks. No system is perfectly secure. Carriers are responsible for protecting their passwords, and for sharing offer links, export links, and feed links only with intended recipients. If a security breach affecting personal information occurs, we will notify affected customers and, where required, individuals and authorities, as the law requires.
8. Children
The Service is for businesses and adult job seekers. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child's information was submitted, contact bgd4you@gmail.com and we will delete it.
9. Location of processing
We are based in the United States and process information in the United States. The Service is intended for U.S. carriers and drivers.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. We will post the new version with a new version ID and effective date. For material changes, we will notify carrier account owners by email or in the Service before the change takes effect.
